Just ordered tonight's special, Haddock and chips for delivery. Food was still hot on arrival and absolutely delicious as always. Delivery was prompt and friendly. Just love this place, I cant recommend it enough.

The lunch portions were generous and beautifully plated.

Very popular many restauranteers have had this property in the last 5 years but this family are the most successful and a integral part of the community

Both soups delicious and very flavourful on their own but I decided to mix them together as the tomato and pepper soup was a little to sweet for my taste and then I had the perfect soup. Spicy, earthy and deep with a touch of sweetness. Absolutely delicious and healthy.

Wow, this place has excellent food choices, allergy aware, awesome value and just overall a gem of a find! Don't be put off by it being a 100% gluten free restaurant. I am coeliac but my friends who dined with me are keen to return, even loved the beer in addition to the food. The chips are probably the best I've ever had, super fluffy and crispy on the outside. Just to say we were too full for dessert, but I decided to get the orange and poppyseed cake as a take out for dessert... I'm so glad I did. Thank you x we will be back. Sorry I didn't take pics.

I invited a few family and friends out for a birthday meal, and I deliberately chose Sven's Grill & More as I wanted those (who require a Gluten Free diet) not to feel awkward and to know they could choose ANYTHING off the menu. The food was absolutely delicious and the banter with the service was also great. Nice little selection of Alcohol drinks (also Gluten free) available. It was a very pleasant evening indeed and I (with family & friends) will be back to Sven's for sure. Thank you.

Amazing little gem, unique in the area with home made fresh and delicious food. Gluten free but with all the flavour, tried to sun-dried tomatoes bread with an aubergine dip, superb. The variety of food is unexpected for the location. The homemade cheese cakes are absolutely amazing. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

So glad my friend tagged me in a post as got diagnosed last year as celiac and don't really eat out much any more…the food was amazing the whole family had burgers and grilled chicken and chips went down a treat… did takeaway and collected service was good will definitely be back

Sven's Grill is a real gem! The food is absolutely delicious, and the best part is that everything on the menu is 100% gluten free. It's such a relief knowing my mum and I can eat here safely without having to worry. They also do takeaway and delivery, which has been really handy on busy nights. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming too – it makes the whole experience even better. I'd recommend this place to everyone!

The sides are equally impressive, especially the homemade coleslaw and cornbread. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure every detail is perfect. If you're looking for a fantastic meal in Babbacombe, Sven's is a must-visit!

My wife and I and our young daughter were visiting family in Devon and in Torquay for the day and decided to have a wander and find some food offering which wasn't the normal seafront tourist fayre. We were very lucky to find Sven's Grill - the food was absolutely first class and lovingly prepared with great ingredients, textures and flavours. We sat outside in the warm sunshine and experienced a great friendly welcoming service and will be the first place we find when we are next in the area and hungry though we are jealous of the local regulars who get to experience fantastic food more often!

We found Sven's last year by jusy walking by when they had just started up. We popped in to ask the opening times and Sven opened up for us and invited us in for a coffee. What a brilliant place, lovely atmosphere, friendly and very welcoming. Dog friendly too. Food is fantastic and Sven and his wife are so friendly. Been back tonight, had the beef bourginon and excellent cheesecake, highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

What a find, a lovely couple run this restaurant which is like being in your own front room. The clientele are very friendly which makes for a tremendous atmosphere and the food is first rate. Highly recommend.

We visit Torquay regularly and came across this place and had a fantastic meal. The service was excellent and food was just superb. The schnitzel was lovely and the homemade cheesecake was amazing. Definitely recommend a visit.
